    Under normal circumstances,reverse osmosis element membrane can be used for about 2 to 3 years. In order to prolong the service life,reverse osmosis element membrane can be cleaned, which is usually divided into two methods: physical flushing and organic chemical flushing. Both methods can clean the membrane reasonably. Among them, physics uses the power of mechanical equipment to eliminate contaminants on the membrane surface, and the entire process does not produce all chemical changes. When physical washing cannot repair the characteristics of reverse osmosis element membrane, chemical washing should be performed.

    According to work experience, if osmosis membrane filter is cleaned every three months or longer. If it is cleaned every 1-3 months, the operating conditions must be improved and the actual effect of the pretreatment must be improved.
    Before distinguishing whether osmosis membrane filter needs to be cleaned, the following other reasons that may lead to the following situations should also be fully considered:
    1. Reduce the actual working pressure (the pressure control device fails and the high-pressure cleaning pump is abnormal);
    2. The inlet water temperature decreases (heater failure or seasonal changes cause the temperature to decrease);
    3. The salt content of the influent increases;
    4. The preprocessing is abnormal;

    5. Membrane damage, misalignment of the central tube of the series membrane element, and inadequate sealing of the O-ring of the pressure vessel cause the concentrated water to seep into the fresh water.

    Common pollution sources in reverse osmosis element membrane are mainly CaCO3, CaSO4, BaSO4, SrSO4, metal oxides, silicon deposits, organic compounds and microbial slime. When the scale inhibitor dosing system or the acid addition system fails, the CaCO3 may be cleaned or soaked in ro purifier membrane using a chemical cleaning method.

    As mentioned above, the environmental pollution of ro purifier membrane is a key factor that endangers the working efficiency and service life of the reverse osmosis system. Therefore, in order to increase the service life, cleaning must be carried out.
